New Light Through Old Windows

Aristo-Andrew-Keogh-New_Light_Through_Old_Windows

How do I help my audience?

Initially, I am like a confessor or a psychologist.

I ask a few questions, three in all, and then listen to the confusing responses I hear by way of a reply.

The reason the answers are confusing is that the person I am speaking to is often too close to the project and cannot see the wood for the trees

I am an outsider who can take a bird’s eye view of the business, help you tell a simple, easily understood story, and immediately describe the opportunity and potential solution to your customer’s problems.

“It’s much harder to make money off someone who doesn’t have a problem anymore.”
A line from the book – Lessons in Chemistry, Bonnie Garmus

Often after our first engagement, the person on the imaginary couch will express relief, having spoken out loud their ambitions and fears for the first time, to an outside agent.

Having got lost in the weeds of day-to-day firefighting. It’s refreshing to look at the opportunity they provide by allowing ‘new light through old windows.

Please get in touch if you want to experience the clarity these sessions provide.

P.S.  ‘New Light Through Old Windows’ is the title of a great Album by Chris Rea
